“In the Palm of Our Hand” highlights the inherently human-centric view through which society sees the world. Often, we regard ourselves as the most powerful entity in the universe and its resources are for our use only, with no care for our bigger impact. This misconception arises from our tendency to prioritize our individual desires over the broader context of our planet’s existence. In reality, earth is an awe-inspiring ecosystem, far greater and more enduring than any single human life.
